Week 51: A Full Year of Listening

Welcome to Week 51.

We're nearly at the end of this year-long journey together. This week is dedicated entirely to looking back — a full review of everything this practice has covered, and everything it's meant for you specifically.

Why a Full-Year Review

Fifty-one weeks is a long time, and a great deal has likely shifted gradually enough that it's easy to lose sight of just how much ground you've covered since Week 1's simple invitation to notice your feet on the floor. This week is a deliberate, structured opportunity to see that full arc.

This Week's Practice

Practice 1: The Phase-by-Phase Walkthrough

Slowly review each of the seven phases — foundations, stress, emotion, movement, self-compassion, connection, integration — and for each, write a few sentences: What did this phase teach me? What's different in me now compared to before it?

Practice 2: Your Origin Story

Reread (or recall) Week 1. Notice how it feels to encounter that starting point now, fifty weeks later. What would you tell that earlier version of yourself, just beginning?

Practice 3: Gratitude for the Practice

Write a short note of appreciation — to yourself, for showing up across this year in whatever way you did; imperfectly is more than enough. Consistency, not perfection, is what built whatever has shifted.

What to Watch For

  • Genuine, specific changes across the year — in your stress recovery, your relationships, your relationship with your own body
  • Phases or practices that had more impact than you expected at the time
  • A felt sense of the full arc, from grounding through connection to this integration phase
  • Pride, relief, or simple quiet satisfaction in having sustained this practice, in whatever form, for a full year

A Note on Starting Where You Are

If your year looked messy — weeks skipped, practices abandoned and returned to, phases that didn't land the way you expected — that's not a departure from the program; it's what real, sustained practice actually looks like for almost everyone. There's no version of this year that would have been more "correct" than the one you actually lived.

Looking Ahead

Next week, our final week, we look forward: what continuing this practice looks like beyond this program's structure.

A full year of listening to your own body. Start where you are. 🌿
